The World Employment Confederation-Europe and UNI-Europa have been conducting in 2017-2018 a joint Project on “Online talent platforms, labour market intermediaries and the changing world of work” as part of the EU Sectoral Social Dialogue.

The project aims to map online talent platforms, the applicable regulation and the contribution of these forms of intermediation to the labour market. The assessment was done using temporary agency work as main comparator.

The research report was conducted by the Centre for European Policy Studies and the Institute of Labour Economics. It will be presented and discussed during a pan-European conference, bringing together EU policymakers, representatives of the online talent platforms, EU social partners and representatives of the academic world.
