EU Sectoral Social Partners Pan-European Conference "Online talent platforms, labour market intermediaries and the changing world of work"World Employment Confederation-Europe and UNI-Europa to launch the results of their Joint Project on 16 May 2018 The World Employment Confederation-Europe and UNI-Europa have been conducting in 2017/2018 a joint EU Sectoral Social Dialogue Project on "Online talent platforms, labour market intermediaries and the changing world of work." The project aims to map online talent platforms, the applicable regulation and the contribution of these forms of intermediation to the labour market. The assessment was done using temporary agency work as main comparator. The research report, which will be presented and discussed during the conference, was conducted by the Centre for European Policy Studies and the Institute of Labour Economics. The pan-European Conference will bring together EU policymakers, representatives of the online talent platforms, EU social partners and representatives of the academic world. The conference programme can be downloaded here. For further information, please contact Michael Freytag at the World Employment Confederation-Europe Head Office. |
